Who We Are
MedigapWise is an independent guide to Medicare Supplement insurance. We explain Medigap and Part D in plain language, and when you want help, our own licensed insurance agents compare plans for you at no cost.
Shopping for a Medigap plan usually means sorting through lettered plans, price quotes that change by ZIP code and age, and enrollment rules with strict deadlines. We built MedigapWise to make that process easier to follow.
MedigapWise is operated by ZRN Health & Financial Services, LLC, a Texas company based in Austin. Our content is written and reviewed by people who work with Medicare beneficiaries every day.
What We Cover
Every topic on MedigapWise connects to one goal: helping you choose and keep the right coverage alongside Original Medicare.

What each lettered plan covers, from Plan G and Plan N to the high-deductible options.
Costs and Pricing

✔
Medicare Part D. Drug plans, costs and the yearly out-of-pocket cap, since Medigap does not cover prescriptions.
✔
State guides. Rules and plan options that differ from state to state, including states with their own Medigap systems.
Our Editorial Approach
We start with primary sources: CMS announcements, Medicare.gov, state insurance departments and the outlines of coverage insurance companies file for their plans. When a figure changes, we update the page that uses it.
1
Research. We check each rule and dollar figure against an official source.
2
Write in plain language. We explain terms like attained-age pricing and guaranteed issue the way we would to a client.
3
Licensed review. A licensed Medicare insurance broker reviews each page before it is published.
Our full process is described in our Editorial Standards.
Independent Medicare Information
MedigapWise is a private website. We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the federal Medicare program or any state agency.
Good to know: For official Medicare information, visit Medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE. Your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) also offers free, unbiased counseling. See our Medicare Disclaimer for details.
Insurance and Advertising Disclosure
MedigapWise is free to use. When you ask for a quote or help, your request goes to our own licensed insurance agents, not to a call center we sell leads to.
How we are paid
✔If you enroll through our agents, the insurance company you choose pays us a commission.
✔That commission does not add to your premium.
What that means for you
✔No cost to compare plans with us.
✔You are never required to enroll.
Insurance companies do not review or approve what we publish. We may not offer every plan or company available in your area. Read our full Advertising Disclosure.
Keeping Our Information Current
Medicare changes every year. When CMS publishes new figures, we update every page that uses them.
Part B deductible
High-Deductible G limit
Plan K and L caps
Part D cost limits
Premiums and plan availability also depend on the company and your location, so always confirm details with a licensed insurance agent or the insurance company before you enroll.
